    Ukraine is known for its stunning natural beauty. In the Carpathians and Polissia, there are many beautiful places to visit. The habitat in these areas includes hares and deer, wolves and foxes. In the north-west, there are over 3,000 lakes with abundant fish (such as the Shatsk lakes).

     1. The wolf is the largest member of the dog family. It's one of the most valuable predators on the planet. Wolves are found in dense woodland, but their natural environment is dwindling. In many fairy stories, the wolf is a villain. Criminal hunting, traffic killing, and a shortage of food are the primary causes of their extinction. 

    2. In several European countries, the white stork is thought to bring good fortune. However, their numbers are dwindling. Storks can be seen flying easily in several Ukrainian villages. Life has shown that the stork's environments can be preserved with the aid of local residents.
